ARA Signed a Coalition Letter to the House Opposing a Block to NEPA Reform
Jul 23 2020
On July 23, ARA signed a coalition letter to members of the U.S. House of Representatives opposing the first package of appropriations legislation that would block implementation of recent reforms to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations.
ARA and the 40 other organizations signed onto this letter support NEPA reforms because they ensure the federal permitting process is predictable, transparent and that decisions are made in a reasonable time frame. This will speed up infrastructure projects, which will help rural communities, and put American people to work. Read the letter to learn more.
