ARA joined nearly 60 organizations in a letter to House Appropriators to address industry concerns with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory programs related to the agency’s Integrated Risk Information System program (IRIS). IRIS is being used to develop overly burdensome regulations on critical chemistries essential for products use every day.

On May 9, 2024, ARA along with the National Grain & Feed Association (NGFA) and several other national food and agricultural industry groups sent a letter to Canada’s Minister of Labor to urge their government to take swift action to avert a rail strike that could begin as soon as May 22, 2024.
