ARA Signed a Letter to FDA on Plant Gene Editing

On July 29, ARA signed a letter to the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Stephen Hahn calling for clarifying guidance for plants derived from gene-editing and advanced plant breeding methods.
ARA and the undersigned organizations urge FDA to publish this draft guidance as soon as possible "to minimize the risks of these innovation-stifling outcomes and to continue to advance the position of the United States as the global leader in biotechnology development.
