ARA Signs a Coalition Letter to STB Regarding CSX Service Issues Listening Session

ARA signs a Rail Customer Coalition letter thanking Acting Chairman Begeman and Commissioner Miller of the Surface Transportation Board for holding the October 11th listening session on CSX service issues. They account for more than half of the total volume of cargo shipped by rail and generate more than three-quarters of the revenues collected by the railroads. The RCC requests a follow-up meeting with you to further discuss these issues that are so important to our members. The meeting would provide an update on continuing and in some cases deteriorating CSX service conditions, and to discuss actions the Board could take that would fix the underlying problems.
