ARA Signed a Coalition Letter to Congress on Surface Transportation

ARA signed onto a coalition letter with more than 40 organizations to Congress with suggested ways to create a more environmentally responsible and economically viable freight transportation system in the next surface transportation bill. This will keep American agriculture competitive.
The letter specifically calls for crucial elements that ensure rural America isn't left behind in any infrastructure package, hours-of-service (HOS) rule exemptions that offer flexibility for ag retailers and farm supply supporters, flexibility within the fuel space and more.
