ARA Sent Letter to Treasury Secretary on Section of Tax Cuts & Job Acts of 2017

On Feb. 14 ARA President & CEO Daren Coppock sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin calling on the U.S. Treasury Department and the IRS to consider two objectives related to tax benefits accorded to farmer-owned cooperatives and to restoring and preserving the competitive landscape of the marketplace.
This letter is part of ARA's ongoing effort to restore the original Section 199 provisions that existed in 2017.
