ARA Signed Coalition Letter to POTUS Urging Oberman Nomination

ARA signed Rail Customer Coalition (RCC) letter to President Trump requesting for Martin Oberman to be quickly nominated as the fifth and final member of the Surface Transportation Board (STB). None of the nominations will be confirmed by the Senate until the fifth and final member is nominated. A fully staffed STB committed to moving forward on freight rail policy reforms is imperative, so the reforms will streamline overly burdensome regulatory procedures and promote greater competition in the rail sector.
