ARA Signed a Letter to Congress Requesting Amendments to INVEST in America Act
Jun 17 2020
On June 17, ARA signed a letter to Congress with a request to amend the INVEST in America Act because proposed language would duplicate efforts already being taken by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) and add unnecessary requirements to a process that has worked safely for decades.
ARA and the undersigned organizations urge Congress to support an amendment proposed by Rep. Mike Bost, R-Ill., because at a time of limited resources and an uncertain economy, the last thing the agricultural sector needs is additional changes.
