ARA Signed a Letter to USFWS Southeast on Genetically Engineered Crops Use
Apr 19 2020
ARA signed a letter with comments to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Southeast Region on its draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment for the use of genetically engineered agricultural crops (GECs) on National Wildlife Refuges (NWRs).
The letter says that "allowing GECs to be used in the NWRs in addition to conventional and organic varieties provides for greater flexibility to use the most sustainable crop characteristics for the particular growing conditions."
