ARA Signs Enforcement Extension Request of PSM Retail Exemption Memo

ARA signs a letter to the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health requesting an extension of the Process Safety Management Program (PSM) enforcement delay through July 2018. Agricultural retail facilities were previously exempt from PSM until the “retail exemption” memo was issued on July 22, 2015. While many facilities have worked hard to implement the elements of PSM, there are still a large number of facilities that will be unable to meet the deadline.
