ARA Co-Signs Letter to House Ag Committee Chair on Disaster Funding

ARA co-signed a coalition letter to the chairman of the U.S. House Agriculture Committee David Scott on federal crop insurance gaps.

"The crop insurance program provides a dependable risk management tool for a wide variety of crops and farmers of all sizes," says the letter.

ARA and the undersigned organizations are committed to working with the House Agriculture Committee to address gaps in crop insurance programs through improvements and additional funding for disaster programs that will not undercut crop insurance's effectiveness or discourage participation.
