ARA Celebrates New Class of Rising Stars
Dec 05 2019
NEW ORLEANS, La. (Dec. 5, 2019) – The Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) recognized a group of top performers and emerging leaders as part of its Rising Stars professional development program today at the 2019 ARA Conference & Expo.
For the individuals participating in the Rising Stars program, it is an opportunity to expand their network and learn new approaches to apply directly to their work while attending the 2019 ARA Conference & Expo sessions and receptions such as the Chairman’s Reception also attended by ARA board members.
“Meeting the ARA Rising Stars is always a highlight of the ARA Conference and Expo,” says ARA President and CEO Daren Coppock. “We are always honored to recognize emerging leaders and are hopeful they will remain engaged in the industry for many years to come.”
Following the conference Rising Stars will be encouraged to join an ARA Committee or to attend other upcoming professional development pathway opportunities with the association.
The ARA Rising Stars program, sponsored by AGI Fertilizer Systems, is an opportunity for member organizations to nominate staff members or various experience and age to be recognized and celebrated for the work they are doing in the agricultural retail field at the premier event in ag retail. ARA knows that when employees are challenged and engaged in their own professional development, companies are more likely to retain a higher number of high achieving employees.
Nominations are accepted annually from mid-June until early September and are open exclusively to ARA members.
