Dec 01 2021
Today the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) honored Alex McGregor with the Jack Eberspacher Lifetime Achievement Award for his legacy of leadership of The McGregor Company.
McGregor received ARA’s highest individual honor during the 2021 ARA Conference & Expo general session attended by more than 500 industry professionals to celebrate his steadfast contributions to ARA initiatives and his fundamental role in advancing ag retail which has stood the test of time.
“Alex is a long-time industry leader known not only for the business that bears his name, but for his steadfast involvement with the grower communities and organizations served by The McGregor Company,” said ARA President and CEO Daren Coppock. “It was under his leadership that the company grew in scope and technology before handing over the reins to his son.”
The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon with the seed, crop inputs, equipment, research and advice needed to raise healthy, sustainable crops. Customers throughout the Inland Northwest benefit from 135 years of McGregor expertise and consumers worldwide rely on the crops harvested by these dedicated growers.
The ARA Lifetime Achievement Award was established in 2001 and renamed in 2010 to honor the late Jack Eberspacher, who served as ARA president and CEO from 2001 until his death in 2009, and his career-spanning achievements and contributions to the agricultural retail industry.
