ARA Submits Letter of Support to BL for Caldwell Canyon Revised Min and Reclamation EIS Plan

ARA submitted a letter to the Bureau of Land Management on January 23, 2025, in support of the Caldwell Canyon Revised Mine and Reclamation Plan Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The mine is owned and operated by Bayer CropScience.
ARA emphasized the importance of Bayer’s operations in Soda Springs, Idaho, for producing glyphosate-based Roundup® herbicides, which starts with mining phosphate ore, a key economic activity for the region.
