ARA Signed Coalition Comments Objecting to Chlorpyrifos Tolerance Revocation
Oct 19 2021
ARA signed coalition comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with formal objections to the chlorpyrifos tolerance revocations issued on Aug. 30.
ARA and the undersigned organizations say the revocation is inconsistent with sound, science-based and risk-based regulatory practices. Based on these objections, this coalition urges EPA to rescind the final rule and consider continued agricultural uses of chlorpyrifos under its ongoing, normal-order registration review.
