ARA Signs Ag Stakeholder Comments on EPA Draft Herbicide Strategy
Oct 22 2023
ARA is among the more than 50 ag stakeholder groups to co-sign a letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to voice opposition to the agency's Draft Herbicide Strategy Framework to Reduce Exposure of Federally Listed Endangered and Threatened Species and Designated Critical Habitats from the Use of Conventional Ag Herbicides.
The comments express opposition to the proposed strategy because it would irreparably harm thousands of farming operations and urge the agency to work with stakeholders to significantly reform the proposal. Read about the suggested improvements EPA should make in the comments below.
